Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Post-Basic Orthopaedic Nursing Programme at National Orthopaedic Hospital Dale, Kano.
The course is designed for specialized training in Orthopaedic Nursing.
1.) Course Contents:
- Lectures (Theory and Practical demonstrations)
- Seminars/Conferences/Workshops.
- Case studies and Group Presentations.
2.) Entry Qualifications:
- Applicant must be registered Nurses (SRN) or RN) with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Applicant must have five credits in science subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- A minimum of two years post qualification working experience is required.
- Previous experience of Orthopaedic Nursing is an advantage.
- Candidates must be sponsored for the course. Sponsoring authorities will be fully responsible for the payment of their candidate’s Salaries and allowances whilst in training.
3.) Accommodation:
The course is non-residential but limited accommodation is available on first come first serve basis.
4.) Closing Date:
Completed application forms duly endorsed by sponsors together with photocopies of relevant credentials must be forwarded to the
Medical Director, National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dala-Kano to reach him not later than July 31st 2013.
Candidates should note that there would be a
written and Oral Interview on 13th and 14th August 2013 starting
from 8:30am each day.
