Job Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Abuja
Job Description:
- The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients through advertising, broadcasting, and other media instruments.
- They must then plan persuasive approaches that will convince clients to purchase the product.
- Business Development Managers must display a passion for images, be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- They need strong leadership skills and should be able to manage and motivate a wide range of people so that the sales team hits its targets.
Duties
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Ability to work as a trainer and deliver training programs is essential.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Qualifications and Skills
- A first degree is essential preferable in a marketing related course. Masters is desirable
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in brand managing.
- The candidate should:
- Have strong brand management experience;
- Good I.T. Skills; especially Power point and Excel
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work to targets / goals / deadlines
- previous travel experience or evidence of ability to travel to the western economies/world / economies with no visa difficulties
- Experience creating, costing and implementing sales / marketing / advertising plans
- Excellent business development and relationship management skills
- They should be outgoing and friendly and exceptional at building rapport.
- Experience of book keeping and basic accounting skills is essential.
Remuneration
Salary: 60-100k monthly depending on experience, with commission.
