Responsibilities
- Build a pro active safety culture to achieve goal of zero in CWI
- Provide HSE leadership and direction at all stages in the CWI delivery process.
- Cordinate the implementation and maintenance of the H SE MS and relevant HSSE CF
- Provide quality SE expert advice,support and services to Wells to meet rDtL and ORP commitments.
- Support compliance with UIO/EP standards and procedures,local and International SE regulations in Wells.
- Monitor and review HSE performance to achieve the set performance commitments
- Track MFI actions,close out Fountain actions,complete CBD assessment of staff in HSE critical positions
- Provide feedback to senior leaders on their behaviours,and opportunities to improve.
- Identify training requirements,organize,coordinate and supervise SE Training.
- Conduct SE awareness campaigns in the form of presentations,safety talks
- Monitor contractor performance and report management deviations.
Requirements
- Science or Engineering degree with least 7 years experience in EP industry.
- Good understanding of EP business risks. Experience with Shell Nigeria in the Niger Delta is an advantage
- Able to develop and implement EP & Industry policies, strategies and standards.
- Knowledge in HSSE risk Management Framework
- Skilled in and Safe Systems of work/Personal Safety
- Knowledge in HEMP for Significant Risks/SE cases
- Knowledge of Auditing, Environmental quality standards, Environmental laws regulations and permits
- Knowledge in Emergency Response and Recovery
