We are recruiting to fill the following position:

Responsibilities
  • Build a pro active safety culture to achieve goal of zero in CWI
  • Provide HSE leadership and direction at all stages in the CWI delivery process.
  • Cordinate the implementation and maintenance of the H SE MS and relevant HSSE CF
  • Provide quality SE expert advice,support and services to Wells to meet rDtL and ORP commitments.
  • Support compliance with UIO/EP standards and procedures,local and International SE regulations in Wells.
  • Monitor and review HSE performance to achieve the set performance commitments
  • Track MFI actions,close out Fountain actions,complete CBD assessment of staff in HSE critical positions
  • Provide feedback to senior leaders on their behaviours,and opportunities to improve.
  • Identify training requirements,organize,coordinate and supervise SE Training.
  • Conduct SE awareness campaigns in the form of presentations,safety talks
  • Monitor contractor performance and report management deviations.

Requirements
  • Science or Engineering degree with least 7 years experience in EP industry.
  • Good understanding of EP business risks. Experience with Shell Nigeria in the Niger Delta is an advantage
  • Able to develop and implement EP & Industry policies, strategies and standards.
  • Knowledge in HSSE risk Management Framework
  • Skilled in and Safe Systems of work/Personal Safety
  • Knowledge in HEMP for Significant Risks/SE cases
  • Knowledge of Auditing, Environmental quality standards, Environmental laws regulations and permits
  • Knowledge in Emergency Response and Recovery
