We are recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: HSE Support Infrastructure and Utilities

Responsibilities
  • Build a proactive safety culture and embed practices leading to improved asset integrity management especially electrical equipment,sources of fires,explosion,etc as well as management of food quality and FLBs to prevent food poisoning and malaria cases in Shell owned / operated residential,office and field locations
  • Drive and coordinate compliance with the HSE MS and HSSE CF as applicable local and national Infrastructure Services and Corporate Utilities standards.
  • Deliver quality HSE expert advice,provide SE support to Location Services in the Infrastructure Services and Corporate Utilities and support the sustenance of ISO 14001 certification or related external certification.
  • Run site-specific Infrastructure and Utilities emergency response exercises and drills
  • Execute programmes for Infrastructure annual cross functional facilities inspections (MFI,FI etc) and pre-mob inspections in Infrastructure Services and Corporate Utilities
  • Manage Learning from Incidents,best practices drive consistency and standardize SE practices in Infrastructure according to Group,Regional and UIOG guidelines.
  • Promote continuous H SE risk identification,assessment and reduction in Infrastructure activities.
  • Collate and submit HSE data for infrastructure Management Team in the Infrastructure Services and Corporate Utilities
  • Support the build up and delivery of SE plans towards realisation of continuous improvement of SE performance in Infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Science or Engineering degree with least 7 years experience in EP industry.
  • Good understanding of EP business risks. Experience with Shell Nigeria in the Niger Delta is an advantage
  • Able to develop and implement EP & Industry policies, strategies and standards.
  • Knowledge in HSSE risk Management Framework
  • Skilled in and Safe Systems of work/Personal Safety
  • Knowledge in HEMP for Significant Risks/SE cases
  • Knowledge of Auditing, Environmental quality standards, Environmental laws regulations and permits
  • Knowledge in Emergency Response and Recovery
