We are recruiting to fill the following vacant position:

Responsibilities
  • Build a pro active HSE culture to achieve goal of zero in Geophysical and Geomatics business
  • Lead and manage SE integration into Development services
  • Coordinate the integration of HSE MS and HSSE CF relevant to Geomatics process map
  • Define work methods,identify hazards,test the integrity of HSE controls monthly
  • Champion Compliance Management in Geomatics projects (Regulatory,Shell/EP Standards and SE data monitoring and reporting).
  • Monitor and review SE performance to achieve the performance commitments
  • Advise Geomatics LT/ ELT members on SE issues/activities of site support.
  • Manage Learning from Incidents,best practices,drive consistency and standardize SE practices to achieve an incident free workplace
  • Coordinate SE Performance Measurement and ensure consistency in data reporting and interpretation.
  • Assess and close out HSSE comeptence gaps for staff in HSE critical positions
  • Coordinate the planning,management and review of the SE elements of the Geomatics Budgets

Requirements
  • Science or Engineering degree with least 7 years experience in EP industry.
  • Good understanding of EP business risks. Experience with Shell Nigeria in the Niger Delta is an advantage
  • Able to develop and implement EP & Industry policies, strategies and standards.
  • Knowledge in HSSE risk Management Framework
  • Skilled in and Safe Systems of work/Personal Safety
  • Knowledge in HEMP for Significant Risks/SE cases
  • Knowledge of Auditing, Environmental quality standards, Environmental laws regulations and permits
  • Knowledge in Emergency Response and Recovery
