Entry Qualifications/Requirements
The minimum entry requirement for Higher National Diploma Programmes for specified field are:
  • The National Diploma (ND) in the relevant programme with minimum of Lower Credit in the field of interest and five (5) Relevant Credits at SSCE, NTC, GCE, WAEC, NECO, NBC or NABTEB level.
  • A minimum of one (1) year Post National Diploma (ND) cognate working experience (Industrial Training).
  • All Graduates (Except that of Federal Polytechnic, Mubi) are to send Transcripts of their National Diploma under confidential covers to the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic, Mubi to ease consideration of their admission requests. Graduands of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi must present original statement of result at the point of screening.

Interested applicants should apply through JAMB and sit for UTME in the relevant subjects. Only candidates who meet the JAMB cut off mark shall be considered for admission.

Entry Requirements
  • Requirements for ND Programme include a minimum of Five (5) Credit passes of SSCE, NTE, NECO, WAEC, GCE, NBC, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

Entry Requirements for Diploma Programmes
  • Applicants are required to have credit in ‘O’ Level English Language, Mathematics plus any two (2) out of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Agricultural Science, Economics, Commerce, Financial Accounting, Government and any other Social science subject relevant to his/her choice.
Preliminary Programmes
  • The Polytechnic runs a one year Preliminary in Science and Engineering and Social and Management Science Programmes which prepares candidates into a full time National Diploma Programmes listed above.
Entry Requirements
  • All candidates for Prelim programme must have a minimum of five passes at SSCE, NTC, GCE, WAEC, NECO, NBC or NABTEB or equivalent. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other subject depending on the National Diploma Programme of interest to the candidate.
Note: It is compulsory for all applicants for Preliminary Programme to sit for one year 2017 UTME being organized by JAMB.

Payment Process
All applicants are to purchase the Polytechnic Admission Form online by using their Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card in the space provided on the portal, and pay a sum of Five Thousand Naira (N 5,000.00) only to the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi CBN TSA Account via Remita after which, they are to proceed to fill the form online.
