We are recruiting to fill the following position:

Responsibilities
  • Candidate will provide Specialist Mechanical Static Equipment Engineering inputs in the areas of Pressure Vessels,Heat Exchanger, Piping and Valves etc to Projects and Asset teams with the sole aim of maintaining Asset Design Integrity. This will cover inputs to projects and Detail Design for Projects and also manage the Mechanical Static Engineering Skillpool.
  • Liaison with Lead Design Engineers,Project Leaders, Corporate Discipline Heads, Asset Team Chief Engineers, Area Head of Subsurface Developments for the effective support of all the projects and assets developments with main focus in Mechanical Static Equipment.
  • Working directly with Asset and project teams to ensure Asset Design integrity.
  • Support and advise the various projects on appropriate and group standard practice including use of innovative,cost saving technology and novel business solutions in order to reduce the average cost of project development
  • To manage and contribute to the development,implementation and maintenance of codes,standards and procedures applicable to Mechanical Static equipment engineering to ensure effective dissemination
  • Technical Authority Level 2 for Mechanical Static support Projects and the Asset Teams and Providing assistance in the management of Mechanical Static Skillpool.
  • Lead in Coaching and mentoring scheme for young graduates in Mechanical Static Skillpool.

Requirements
  • B.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Mechanical Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry particularly in the areas of design, construction, commissioning and start-up of Mechanical Static equipment, of which a minimum of 3 years in a senior mechanical engineering role. Must have in-depth knowledge of Mechanical Static Equipmentt and can contribute to the development of basis for design, Project and detailed engineering design.
