Job Title: Commis (Cook)
Location: High brand Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
- To produce the highest possible food quality in his own section in line with appropriate food portion control and use of recipes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares and properly sets up food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper presentation.
- Sets up Mise-en-place for own station
- Prepares basic and main dishes as required in his own section.
- Refers to station’s file and standard fro all preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes prepared in his station.
- Sets up lunch and dinner buffet according to Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie’s instructions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE
- Minimum of 2-3 years post qualification cognate experience
- Below 30 years
