A major company in Nigeria's Oil and Gas service sector is seeking for experienced candidates for the below position:
Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Nigeria
Qualifications/Skills
- University Degree in Social Sciences or any relevant courses i.e Economics Accounting etc.
- ACA or ACCA qualified with minimum of 6 years Accountant Experience within the Financial Services Industry or any of the Big 4 Professional Services.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards.
- Advanced excel skills.
- High level of IT literacy and familiarity with Business Intelligence and ERP systems.
- Strong focus on continuous Improvement and automation of financial processes.
- Demonstrable competence in preparation of company's monthly financial and management accounts.
- Ability to develop and Implement systems and procedures for capturing financial transactions.
- Ability to manage and analyze the firm's expenses and advise management on cost Responsible for third party (Bankers Tax consultant Pension Fund Custodians, PENCOM) liaison on behalf of the unit.
- Ability to ensure prompt postings of journal entries required for the preparation of management/financial accounts as well as other reports
- and available for use.
- Ability to manage company fixed Assets.
