Job Title: IRATA Level 3 Supervisor, Welder/Fabricator

Responsibilities/Summary of Functions
- Serve as a Rope Access L3 Supervisor as defined by IRATA for operations in conjunction with the duties of a Welder/Fabricator
- Supervise all works on rope and ensure best safety practices
- Rig all ropes required to perform tasks on rope
- Sort and inspect all rope access equipment prior to mobilization/ensure operational safety of all equipment
- Be knowledgeable in on site fall protection, high angle rescue and rescue training
- Co-ordinate the rescue team
- Be able to handle welding repairs in difficult areas to access locations 4G-6G
- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level I, II and III as an IRATA Certified Rope Access Technician
- Supervise and ensure the safety and performance of the level 1 and level 2 technicians in the team
- Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis
- Sign technicians’ IRATA log books
- Ensure correct fabrication by dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds
- Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to ensure a safe working environment
- Actively participate in safety meetings and tool box talks as required by Client
- Communicate and coordinate with the Company’s project managers and other team members to maintain consistent workflow and Client’s satisfaction
- Perform any other task as directed by the Client
Requirements/Qualification
- Experience: 8 years and above
- Experience in Welding/Fabrication
- Minimum of OND
- IRATA Level 3 Certificate
- SAS & HUET or BOSIET
- Offshore Safety Permit (DPR)
