We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IRATA Level 3 Supervisor, Welder/Fabricator

Responsibilities/Summary of Functions
  • Serve as a Rope Access L3 Supervisor as defined by IRATA for operations in conjunction with the duties of a Welder/Fabricator
  • Supervise all works on rope and ensure best safety practices
  • Rig all ropes required to perform tasks on rope
  • Sort and inspect all rope access equipment prior to mobilization/ensure operational safety of all equipment
  • Be knowledgeable in on site fall protection, high angle rescue and rescue training
  • Co-ordinate the rescue team
  • Be able to handle welding repairs in difficult areas to access locations 4G-6G
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level I, II and III as an IRATA Certified Rope Access Technician
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and performance of the level 1 and level 2 technicians in the team
  • Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis
  • Sign technicians’ IRATA log books
  • Ensure correct fabrication by dimensional checks and visual inspection of welds
  • Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to ensure a safe working environment
  • Actively participate in safety meetings and tool box talks as required by Client
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Company’s project managers and other team members to maintain consistent workflow and Client’s satisfaction
  • Perform any other task as directed by the Client
Requirements/Qualification
  • Experience: 8 years and above
  • Experience in Welding/Fabrication
  • Minimum of OND
  • IRATA Level 3 Certificate
  • SAS & HUET or BOSIET
  • Offshore Safety Permit (DPR)
