We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: System Administrator (with SQL proficiency)
Location: Oyo
Responsibilities
- A system administrator must be able to do the following:
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes;
- Create and verify backups of data;
- Install and test computer-related equipment;
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems;
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests;
- Review application logs;
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
Qualifications
- A B.Sc., HND or foundation Degree:
- Good knowledge of the following may be an advantage:
- Business information technology;
- Business systems engineering;
- Computer networking and hardware;
- Computer software development;
- IT Certifications like Microsoft, Linux, Unix and Cisco certification may give you an advantage.
Skills:
- You will need to show evidence of the following:
- A good memory of how software and operating systems work;
- A strong customer focus;
- Attention to details;
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution;
- Problem solving skills;
- The ability to prioritise your workload;
- The ability to think logically;
- The ability to work well in a team.
