Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Requirements/Experience
- B.Sc in Journalism, Communications, Business, Public Relations Education or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years of corporate, agency or public-sector public relations experience.
Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent writing, communications, issues and project management skills.
- Experience as a professional communicator with a focus on corporate relations and internal communications.
- Experience with digital content management and story telling.
- Ability to translate complex material into comprehensible language for targeted audiences.
- Strategic thinking; communications strategy planning, creativity and resourcefulness.
- Ability to manage projects, including videos and Q&A briefing documents against tight deadlines.
- Corporate/agency experience required
- Associated Press style required
- Knowledge of web and social media technology
- Strong initiative and follow-thru skills, ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Ability to wear multiple hats.
