We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Preparation and presentation of strategies and solutions to groups of clients or prospects
- Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region
- Travelling to visit potential clients
- Providing routine, accurate and meaningful market information, forecasting and product planning to management.
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Negotiating tender and contract terms
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Identify and communicate resources needed to meet sales objectives
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of industrial business practices and effective sales techniques
- Team work and excellent problem solving
- Sound judgment and good business sense
- A solid technical background
- Candidate must possess a minimum of three years’ work experience
- HND/Degree in a relevant engineering/science discipline
- Excellent attention to details
- Existing knowledge of electrical, controls, automation and/or mechanical systems for industrial and infrastructure applications would be an advantage
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with capability to manage own workload
