Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the company's financial transactions.
- This position requires minimal or no supervision and pro-activeness.
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Prepare and remit and file the various taxes associated with the company
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance to company's policies and processes
Requirements
Desired candidate must have:
- A Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounting
- At least 4 years experience in similar role
- Must be knowledgeable in tax preparations and returns filing and remittances.
- Must have considerable knowledge of inventory control
