Job Title: Corporate Strategy Advisor

Job Description
- Softcom creates some of Africa’s most cutting-edge software products, and we want you to be a part of our team.
- We are currently in search of an experienced Corporate Strategy Advisor to effectively communicate the business's strategic objectives with senior management to drive the business forward.
- You will have meetings with finance teams to get a take on how the businesses cash flow is doing and figure out what expenses need to be cut.
- As the corporate strategy advisor, you will also meet regularly with the CEO to update him on how the business is performing and offer suggestions you believe will make the company stronger.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicating and implementing Softcom’ strategy internally and externally so that all employees, partners, suppliers, and contractors understand the company-wide strategic plan and how it carries out the company's overall goals.
- Driving decision-making that creates medium- and long-term improvement.
- Establishing and reviewing key strategic priorities and translating them into a comprehensive strategic plan.
- Monitoring the execution of the strategic plan.
- Facilitating and driving key strategic initiatives through inception phase.
- Ensuring departmental/unit strategic planning projects reflect organizational strategic priorities.
- Partnering with institutional leadership, special committees, and consultants to support execution of key initiatives.
- Developing inclusive planning processes.
- Translating strategies into actionable and quantitative plans.
- Mobilizing and managing teams of individuals charged with executing strategies.
- Acting as a resource across an organization to increase broad cohesion for strategic plans.
- Performing all other functions as may be required of you to enable Softcom achieve its strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- B.Sc/HND or Master's degree in Business or Finance
- Five (5) years of experience in business management.
- Experience occupying an advisory role within a management consulting firm
- A long record of success in developing business plans and procedures with a positive outcome
Skills:
- You should be an innovator and know the ins and outs of various financial structures, outsourcing opportunities, public communications and competitive intelligence.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead teams of managers while inspiring and influencing a diverse workforce.
