The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi hereby announces that the positions of Polytechnic Librarian will soon be vacant due to the completion of tenures by the incumbents, In accordance with the provision of the Federal Polytechnic Decree No33 of 1979 (as amended by Decree 5 of 1993) and in exercise of its powers as contained therein, the Governing Council wishes to commence the process of filling the impending vacancies.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for framing overall Library policy, personal contacts and Iiason with departments.
- Preparation of Library budgets.
- Responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the Polytechnic Library and performing any other duties that may be assigned to him by the Rector.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess at least a Masters degree in Library Science with not less than 15 years cognate experience.
- He must also be registered with a relevant professional body.
Remuneration
The salary attached to the position is as obtained in similar tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
