Job Title: Manager Training Human Resources

Location:
Lagos,NG

Job Summary
  • Participate in the design, planning and delivery of training programs
  • Conduct research on latest training interventions and work with external consultants on implementing the leadership interventions

Principal Functions
  • Develop methods, procedures and systems to support training initiatives, evaluate and measure the effectiveness of training and development programs.
  • Coordinate the evaluation and selection of training consultants and institutions to provide/deliver approved training and development programmes to staff.
  • Liaise and partner with appropriate training consultants/institutions to continually deliver top quality training interventions (Leadership training, Managers, Specialist and Analyst trainings) and maximise value from training investment.
  • Coordinate training needs assessment to identify key training needs.
  • Design suitable job schedules for Industrial Trainees, Interns, etc.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise and conduct corporate orientation/induction programs for new hires.
  • Coordinate the definition of training requirement and calendar based on training needs assessment.
  • Organise and plan roll out of training interventions.
  • Ensure training materials are tailored to meet specific needs identified.
  • Ensure consistency in quality and standard of training events and that delivery is in accordance with timeline set
  • Periodically assess the efficiency and effectiveness of design/delivery of training and development methodologies/techniques.
  • Ensure feedback from evaluation is incorporated into subsequent training interventions via the design team.
  • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Head, Learning and Development.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Learning and Development

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
  • Relevant professional certifications from CIPM, SHRM/HRCI, CIPD etc - will provide an added advantage

Experience,Skills & Competencies
  • Six(6) to Eight (8) years work experience with at least three (3) years at supervisory level
