Roles and responsibilities
  • Providing leadership to Administration function.
  • Vehicle/Fleet management and related documentation, including registrations, road tax, insurance, etc.
  • Managing residential accommodations including searching/sourcing new accommodation, negotiating and closing new leases, accommodation related inventory, renovations, etc.
  • Attending to all matters relating to Utilities (NEPA, Water, Waste Disposal, Sanitation issues, etc) of the factory, office, residences and retail shops.
  • Handling end to end General Insurance, Motor Insurance and Employee Insurance matters i.e. insurance policies, premium payments, processing insurance claims, etc.
  • Handling Telecommunication and related issues for office and all employees including payments, troubleshooting, record keeping, etc.
  • Handling housekeeping of the Company premises, laundry management, etc and ensuring hygiene at common areas, offices, etc.
  • Liaison with all levels of government and their parastatals in matters of rates and levies, environment, petitions against the company and/or staff, seeking approvals on different matters and negotiating the best deals for the Company.
  • Documentation of all landed properties of the Company.
  • Representing the Company in legal matters, particularly as Company’s witness in courts and other forums.
  • Designing Administration goal and objectives in line with Organizational objectives.
  • Reviewing Administration related policies, processes, procedures and evaluating its effectiveness.
  • Building a competent, efficient and cost effective Administration Organization.
  • Preparing and tracking Administration department’s budget and costs.
  • Attending public complaints against the Company or its staff.
  • Taking and implementing orders for printed materials, staff uniforms and safety wears, etc.
  • Representing the Organization in Inter-Company forums, seminars, discussions on general Administration.
  • All relevant record keeping and reporting.
  • Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Any other job which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Skill set
  • Computer literacy with good IT skills.
  • Good oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Excellent leadership skills. Capable of leading team including Managers and staff employees.

  • Qualifications Master's Degree
  • 12 years work experience
