Job Title: House Chef
Location: Banana Island, Lagos
Job Description
- Preparation of vast national (local) and continental food menus
- Develop and implement a strict hygienic food preparation process in the kitchen area
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
- Check freshness of food and ingredients
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards
- Monitors the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Determines how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays
- Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must have a minimum of ND in Catering/Hotel and Restaurant Management or any other related field and vocational training certification in catering will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years chef experience in the hospitality industry (hotel) including culinary experience
- Good verbal and written communication skill
