Job Description
- In charge of detailed drilling engineering for Company's development wells:
- Participate to the definition of the field subsea layout ensuring coherency between reservoir objective and wellhead/ flowlines implementation, and shallow gas hazards issues
- Define well architecture with respect to company rules
- Optimize well trajectories versus targets in collaboration with GSR team
- Perform torque and drag studies, hydraulics studies, anti-collision screening
- Identify and coordinate drilling studies to validate well architecture and drilling program
- Participate to call for tender process for long lead items and drilling services, and perform technical and commercial evaluation of the bids (Tubulars, Directional and MWD Drilling, coring, waste management, mud logging, drilling bits, …) following Napims due process. In contact with contract engineer.
- Ensure that Company HSE rules are respected in the engineering phase and develop drilling program able to achieve company HSE objectives
Qualifications
- Initial formal Education: Engineering Degree
- Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum -4
- Other (prior Experience desirable): offshore drilling experience on floating rig
