Job Description
- Reviews and controls all vendor invoices scanned into IMP Workflow from the Corporate Scanning Site for propriety and eliminate duplication.
- Updates and correct invoice details captured during scanning eg vendor code, amount, payment terms and method etc.
- Prepares accounting entries and submits same for review and approvals.
- Posts approved accounting entries in SAP.
- Reviews, analyses and reconciles GL accounts in order to ensure probity and integrity of vendor balances.
- Performs the reconciliation of the SHS Payroll Bank Account on an ongoing basis and ensures that monthly reconciliation statements are produced.
- Investigates and advises on the status of vendor balances in case of complain, dispute or enquiry from vendor.
- Prepares necessary details and produce written reply to formal requests from vendors and their Auditors e.g. periodic debtor and creditor circularisation.
Qualilfications
- B Sc. Accounting / business related degree
- 3-5 years professional experience
- Able to use specialized accounting software (SAP) and other Windows PC applications
- Basic understanding of Upstream Oil and Gas Industry operations.
