We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Raising and Posting of all cheques and payment vouchers.
- Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payables’ data.
- Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits.
- Vetting of company purchases and supplies and performing other accounts duties as directed by the management
Requirements
- 4-5 years proven working experience as accounts payable accountant
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND Accounting
- Advanced degrees and relevant certifications will be an advantage
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
