We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely collection of monies arising from sales and services
- Ensure that incoming payments are in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Carry out monthly reconciliation of customers' accounts
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collect data and prepare monthly metrics
Requirements
- Proven working experience as accounts receivable accountant
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- 4-5 years experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND Accounting
- Advanced degrees and relevant certifications will be an advantage
