First Royal Microfinance Bank Limited was formerly known as Mbukpa Area Community Bank Limited incorporated on 25th May, 2004 to carry on community bank business. As a result of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) policy justification for the establishment of microfinance banks in Nigeria, Mbukpa Area Community Bank Limited was converted to First Royal Microfinance Bank Limited on 17th September, 2007 with Microfinance Bank license No: 000026 granted by the Central Bank of Nigeria to First Royal Microfinance Bank Limited. Since then, the Bank has grown in leaps and bounds. The corporate office of the Bank is located at 12, Chalmer Street, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.

Requirements
- Applicants must possess a BSc Or HND in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economic or any degree in Social Sciences relating to banking.
- Possession of a Masters Degree and Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Applicant must have sat and passed the certificate examinations organized by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Bankers for operator of Microfinance Banks.
- Applicant must have a verifiable track record and must have at least ten (10) years banking experience five (5) of which must be at management level with proficiency in computer applications.
