Offshore Structures Software Workshops for Oil & Gas Professionals

Petrocarbon is embarking on an initiative which aims to train and empower engineers in software skills to perform several design and analysis related to offshore structures for deepwater and shallow water project development ranging from subsea installation analysis to FEA/CFD analysis, structural geometry and meshing, mooring analysis, ship motion analysis, pipeline design & stress analysis, etc.


These sets of software workshops will run all through the month of November 2017 and will include 4 major software. You can pick one or multiple workshops to attend based on your interest. Please see below with their respective dates:

1.)  OrcaFlex - Mooring, Riser, Subsea Installation Analysis
Workshop Date: Nov 6th - 9th, 2017

2.)  Abaqus - Finite Element Analysis
Workshop Date: Nov 13th - 16th, 2017

3.)  SACS - Offshore Structural Analysis
Workshop Date: Nov 20th - 23rd, 2017

4.)  AutoPIPE - Pipe Design and Stress Analysis
Workshop Date: Nov 27th - 30th, 2017

Workshop Fee:
N85,000.00 (eighty five thousand naira only) per workshop

Facilitator's Profile:

• UK chartered engineer with MSc in subsea engineering and PhD in naval architecture.
• A certified trainer in the use of OrcaFlex, Abaqus and Ansys
• Several years' experience in engineering, analysis and design of marine floating structures.
