Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom
Job Description
- We are currently recruiting for the position of a Finance Head for both schools.
Job Purpose
- The Finance Head will be responsible for managing the financial health also overseeing all financial processes of the schools by producing financial reports, direct investment activities, develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals.
Other Responsibilities:
- Collating, preparing and interpreting financial statements, business activity reports, forecasts and commentaries
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
- Producing long-term business plans
- Supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting
- Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
- Managing budgets
- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs
- Developing and managing financial systems/models
- Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
- Analyze market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities
- Help management make financial decisions
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field. Master’s Degree preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics may serve as an advantage.
Experience:
- 5 years or more experience in a financial occupation as a loan officer, accountant, securities sales agent or financial analyst
