Job Title: Content Developer/Editor (French)
Location: Lagos
Reports To: Content Development Manager
Job Summary
- The French Content Developer/Editor is to effectively write, gather, organize, edit and translate information to create French Content for timely publication, which may include graphics, pictures, recordings, movies or other media asset by performing the following duties:
- To independently write and edit various contents/materials and other collateral pieces in French.
- To develop creative strategies that are forward-thinking and in-line with current media/social trends amongst the French speaking communities.
- To gather information through research, statistical reports and write clear, persuasive, educating, interesting and easy to read French content
- To check content for accuracy and ensure that it complies with copyright and privacy regulations.
- To work with content providers, other content developers, relationship managers and account managers to determine the best way to present information and go about promotion.
- To ensure prompt content acquisition and delivery from content providers and liaise with Account managers on new services and testing.
- To ensure swift resolution to queries regarding content.
- To ensure that the Team Lead gets a report of all outgoing content daily/weekly.
- To perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Skills Required
- Excellent Microsoft skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, Good analytical skills, Ability to provide creative ideas, French proficiency, good time management skills.
