SDIL - Our client, a foremost Health Maintenance Organization in Nigeria to carry on the business of providing healthcare services to corporate organizations and members of the public.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location:
Lagos

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assessment, Credentialing of healthcare providers and Tariff negotiations under the directive of the Regional Manager.
  • Identifying specialties in Providers for members’ specific needs
  • Conduct frequent and timely provider education for the providers on the health plans and individual benefit cover.
  • Supervise the record keeping and regular update of all Providers’ documentations.
  • Vetting of Providers claim and verification of claims
  • Supervision of Payment Advices issuances and the claims register records
  • Maintain an updated provider directory including provider accounts details.
  • Quality control of provider services and Medical Audit of Provider Healthcare Facility
Member Servicing and Enrollee Management:
  • Resolution/ reconciliation of difficult issues with providers and enrollees.
  • Seek and secure approvals for requests on excluded client benefits from the relevant quarters.
  • Periodic Health Presentations to Client on some health related topics.
  • Coordination of clients education on ‘how the scheme works’ and close relationship management with principal persons in the companies.
  • Effective case management.
  • Continuous Education of Enrollees/ Clients.
  • Resolution of difficult enrollee grievances
  • Organise annual medical examination for entitled clients as directed by the Regional Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience:Minimum of 2-3 years post NYSC experience.
  • Age:Must be between 23 – 29 years of age.
  • Have worked in Health insurance (An advantage)
  • Qualification:MBBS
Other skills:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and Access and other
  • software capability.
  • Must have a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel,word to mention a few
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Problem solver .
