The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidate for the positions below at its Headquarters in Ibadan.

Job Title: Account Clerk II (2-year renewable contract)

Location: Ibadan

Duties

Successful candidate will among other things perform the following:

• Keying of transaction into Oracle Application
• Handling of blank cheques during working hours
• Handling local payment
• Assist the Finance Manager on bank reconciliation
• Assist in the reconciliation of statement of account of local suppliers
• Relieving the General Clerk while on leave
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualification and Experience

• OND Accounting/Business Management ICAN Foundation Certificate would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience in a related role of a large organization is required.

The ideal candidate must possess:

• Excellent computer skills with good grasp of spreadsheets, word processing and other MS office applications with good knowledge of Oracle Applications
• Excellent English reporting, writing and oral communication skills
• Strong ability to co-ordinate, prioritise and organize workload; take initiative and work under pressure
• Good team spirit and also participate as a team member in accomplishment of duties
