An established Restaurant is opening a new location in Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Bartender
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- To learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all drink menu items and be familiar with current promotions and any new products
- To prepare the bar for service daily following established guidelines
- To prepare cocktails and serve beverages in accordance with international standards
- To record all sales accurately
- To account for payment received from the customer at the end of the shift
- To wear the correct uniform and maintain highest standards of personal hygiene
- To follow cleaning routine and ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained during the shift, this includes set up and clean down procedures
- Report spills, breakages and accidents to the floor supervisor
- To account for all stock in assigned area and ensure no pilferage of company property or stock
- Carry out stock and store duties as and when required
- Attend staff meetings
Requirements
- Previous experience in bar tending
- Minimum SSCE
- Fluent in English
- Good appearance
- Great personal hygiene
- Friendly personality, likeable and polite
- Great time keeping
- Attention to detail and patience
- Ability to go the extra mile for the customer
- Able to be remain calm under difficult situations
- Good initiative and Willing to learn
- Good team spirit
- Candidate must live within the Jakande / Ajah area
