We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Summary of Role
- Assessing project requirements
- Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines
- Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers.
Qualifications/Attainments
- HND, B.Sc in Engineering or related field of study.
- Professional Qualification i.e. COREN, MNSE, MNIQS, RQS, PMP.
Relevant Experience
- Min 12 years Mechanical Engineering experience in a Construction Project Environment.
- Ability to review and study the design for further improvement whenever necessary.
- Plan and analyze all work instructions and hazards and evaluate all project results and maintain safety in working environment at all times.
- Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Skills and Competences:
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate the work at the job site as a project.
Circumstances:
- Overtime work hours
- Ability to comprehend the extensive work operations and schedules.
