Job Title: Account Officer (FLHE) Federal Ministry of Education

Location:
Abuja

Job Profile
  • This is a 2.5 years contract position.
  • SFH will be implementing the Family Life and HIV Education (FLHE) which is the in school youth component of the Global Fund HIV Round 9 Phase 2 project.
  • SFH will be expected to report on the number of students exposed to FLHE and provide evidence of impact of the in-school youth interventions implemented under the grant.
  • The FLHE programme will be implemented by the Federal Ministry of Education as a Sub-recipient to SFH.
  • To ensure robust financial system and value for money in implementation of project activities, an Account Officer will be required to support the SR in achieving these tasks.
  • S/He will be seated at the Federal Ministry of Education and report to the HIV/AIDS Project Coordinator in the Ministry.
Requirements
  • Must possess a first degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting or any related field.
  • Must possess minimum three (3) years post NYSC working experience
  • Must possess a broad knowledge of accounting software packages especially Quickbooks.
  • Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility
