Rilcost Business Consultant - Our client, an information technology and industrial infrastructural solutions provider handling turnkey projects as representative of world class OEMs, currently seeks for immediate employment a suitably qualified candidate for the position below:

Job Title: Supervisor - Human Resources & Facility Management

Location:
Lagos

Scope of  Work
The incumbent will perform a dual role of Human Resources and Facility Management.

Human Resources Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly payroll, PAYE, pensions and benefits administration
  • Recruiting, training and development of staff job descriptions
  • Oversee the health, safety and welfare of all employees
  • Organize staff training sessions, workshops, seminars and other activities
  • Monitor staff performance, conduct performance appraisals and make recommendations for promotion, dismissal etc.
  • Promote discipline and company culture regarding punctuality and other work attitudes
  • Advise employer and employees on employment laws, regulatory compliance, policies and procedures; and ensure company compliance.
Facility Management Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring safe custody and optimal use of all company assets by employees
  • Liaising with, overseeing and agreeing contracts of Facility service providers such as security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology(IT) etc.
  • Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security
  • Ensuring that basic facilities such as water, electricity/power, plumbing are well-maintained
  • Manage budgets for supplies, repairs and maintenance and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Allocating and manage office space effectively, avoiding waste or redundancy
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
  • Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments
  • Review leasing contracts and advise the company on best options/alternatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of first degree in Environmental or Social sciences
  • Work experience: At least 3 – 5 years experience in human resources, administrative and facility management roles
  • Experience/Qualification in personel management and estate management will be an added advantage
Conditions of Work:
  • Duties to be carried out in Lagos or any company assigned location
  • Respect for company working hours. However, these hours may be exceeded due to work exigencies as the job demands commitment and dedication.
Salary
Salary is based on fixed monthly pay of N1.2 million per annum.
