Job Title: Dispatch Rider and Cyclist
Location: Lagos
Job Description/Responsibilities
We are in need of experienced dispatch riders and cyclists who will be able to perform the following tasks:
- Deliver goods and services through the use of bicycles/motorcycles, or use public conveyances to reach destinations to deliver messages or materials.
- Obtain signatures and payments, or arrange for recipients to make payments.
- Load bicycles/ motorcycles with listed goods, and possibly sort items collected along delivery routes ensuring that goods are loaded correctly and taking precautions with fragile goods.
- Receive information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, mobile app, or in person.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
- Always be in constant communication with the office concerning the delivery status until delivery is successful.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Driver's license and other permit documents up-to-date (for dispatch riders).
- Must be good in written and spoken English.
- Must be able to operate and use a smart phone.
- Must possess a valid means of identification.
- Must have 6 months experience as a dispatch rider/ cyclist.
