Positions: Civil Engineers & Builders
Department: Operations & Projects
Reportng To: Operations Manager, AGM Operations & Projects
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of B. Eng/HND Civil Engineering, Building, Professional qualification(s) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years post NYSC cognate or relevant
Location
- Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate
Job Scope:
- To meet project and site operational needs by executing construction works within set operational time, project scope and agreed budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geological data for proper planning & execution of projects.
- Plan and design buildings following construction and government standards, using design software(s) and drawing tools.
- Inspect project site(s) to monitor progress and ensure conformity to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
- Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
- Prepare or present public reports such as bid proposals, deeds.
- environmental impact statements, technical reports and
- property and right-of-way descriptions. ” Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and
- strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt or steel,
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to construction and managerial personnel
- Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess the potential impact on projects.
