Position: Architect
Department: Operations
Reporting To: Manager: Operations
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of M.Arch/HND Architecture.
- Membership of professional body is added advantage,
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years post NYSC
Location
- Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate
Responsibility:
- Preparing and presenting design proposals to the client;
- Using IT in design and project management, specifically software packages such as Auto Cad
- keeping within deadlines
- Producing detailed drawings from which costing is produced
- Major role in Negotiating with contractors and other professionals;
- Coordinating the work of contractors;
- Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed timescale
- Work closely with other professionals, including engineers and surveyors, to make sure buildings meet the necessary standards.
Others:
- Meet Timelines based on work plan
- Meet agreed building/project standard.
- Delivering accurate and detailed working drawings within stipulated time.
- Producing detailed and accurate working drawings from which costing are produced.
- Proper documentation of contract drawings
