We are recruiting to fill the following position:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and also, secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Requirements
- BSc. or HND in Accounting or Finance with minimum of second class lower division from a reputable institution, plus minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Must be a member of ACCA or ACA
- Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, Confidentiality, Time Management and Good Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Navision Exp. System and must have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Age Range: 25 - 35
