Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location:
Lagos

Position Summary
  • We are looking for an influential, entrepreneurial business development /seasoned sales professional to join us as we expand into a growing market with our travel products and solutions.
  • This role is crucial to the growth of our company by leading the sales of our human capital consulting and learning services.
  • Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable about the travel industry and key markets.
Responsibilities
  • Strategically hold call and source leads to find prospects
  • Research clients’ travel needs, strategically match their needs with our solutions and close deals that fully align the two
  • Provide information and advice to customers on travel services such as airline fares and schedules, accommodation, car rental, cruises, tours, travel insurance, passports and visas
  • Achieve sales targets by maximizing conversion of enquiries into sales
  • Receive monies from clients and issue receipts
  • Relieve at other stores as directed by the Travel Management Team
  • Attend promotional events and activities to maximise sales opportunities and referrals
  • Maintain knowledge of current products and industry practices
  • Create and accurately maintain client files
  • Contribute to product development process based on feedback from sales interactions
  • Meet sales target of between 60–150 million Naira monthly.
Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in any field (sales experience is very important)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Track record of successful sales performance, from lead generation to close.
