Responsibilities
- Pipe material selection
- Pipe routing, including pipe supports
- General knowledge of pipe stress analysis
- Knowledge of Valves
- Knowledge of control systems for pipe systems (actuators and instrumentation)
- Pipe routing
- Prepare Pipe Isometrics
- Pipe Support Design
- Valve Data Sheet preparation
- Prepare Valve Lists
- Prepare purchase specifications
- Follow-up with supplier
Requirements
- Holds an engineering degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum of 4 years experience in piping & layout engineering in oil & gas.
- Understand the basic principles of risk management
- Good knowledge of piping materials valve and piping special items.
- Must be result oriented and outgoing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
