Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an international Company in the Energy sector to recruit a Head Supply Chain Management for its operations in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintains sustainable relationships with the appropriate management and co-worker. Additionally builds up an informal network of trust. Coordinates strategic SCM related relationship management activities
  • Creation of purchase orders within the ERP system
  • Effectively works through others in order to accomplish objectives or fulfill responsibilities; has continuous dialogue especially with the branches to form a common understanding and to ensure full impact of measures. Has an organized approach to check on the progress of tasks and projects.
  • Intensifies the customer relationship and participates in significant contract negotiation. Contract management including financing in major project/system business. Ensures customer participation in business processes.
  • Creation and implementation of travel guidelines and policies. Attends to escalation on logistic challenges from officers
  • Proactive, comprehensive and continuous communication to group and division management
  • Responsible for adherence to all internal, external and corporate policies, procedures and quality standard
Requirements
  • Minimum a university degree. A post graduate degree a plus.
  • Must be allowed to work in Nigeria
  • At least 8 years in SCM or Logistics
  • SCM project experience
  • At least 3 years at Management Level
  • Easy to understand and accept cultural difference proven by international working experience
  • Highly flexible and can adapt to a fast pace environment
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Good leadership qualities
