Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Lagos
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic business plan
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
- Sells solutions by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors; close new deals within assigned territory.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Track record of successful deal closure
- Maintain relationship across verticals
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Must be a team player
Requirements and Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should have at least B.Sc or HND in any Business related field and about five years sales experience in IT.
- Must be computer literate with expertise in MS office specially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional certifications in some IT related areas will be an advantage.
- He must have industry knowledge and access to key people and decision makers and influencers.
