A reputable Oil and Gas company in Nigeria and with subsidiaries in Real Estate & Property Development, Power Generation, Renewable Energy & Agriculture companies, require the services of:

Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location:
Any City, Nigeria

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Liaising with Accounts department to ensure that waybill and invoices are reconciled and reported weekly
  • Monitor and supervise all loaded trucks and their respective drivers from the point of loading till the point of discharge.
  • After discharge of products, to make sure the invoices get to the Accounts department immediately.
  • Reconciliation of purchase of products with loading of trucks.
  • Ensure that all our depot have seals for trucks to keep products intact.
  • Track and know where trucks and their respective drivers are at any point in time.
  • Monitor and supervise all activities of logistics officers.
  • Monitor peddler trans-loading and sales.
  • Account for the booklets of all used invoices and waybills in the trucks before new ones are re-issue to the trucks.
  • Account for and generate peddler loading report from the big trucks to peddlers on truck-by-truck basis.
  • Ensure that all the kits of the trucks (discharging hose, discharging valves, haulage bar, Calibration chart, helmets, reflector, spark arrester, safety boots, waybills and invoices, etc.) are in the trucks at all time.
  • Plan journey management with the drivers and logistics management in conjunction with his logistic team.
  • Ensure the interior and exterior of the trucks are tidy/clean.
Education, Experience & Attribute
  • Minimum of university degree, HND in respective areas of study as indicated.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Cognate experience in Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Property Development, Power Generation, Renewable Energy & Agriculture industry as applicable to job title respectively.
  • Candidates should be willing to work in any part of Nigeria and Africa.
  • Honesty, commitment, hardworking and self-motivation.
