We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Lagos
Main Responsibilities
- She/he will be responsible for managing the activities of the accounts team.
- Preparation of the company’s financial records and statements.
- Bank reconciliation, account payables and receivables and cash management.
- Handling of tax remittances/schedules, with-holding taxes and income tax.
Requirements and Competencies
- A B.Sc. or HND in Accounting.
- Must currently be occupying a Senior Role as an accountant.
- Must be a Certified Chartered Accountant (ICAN).
- Strong experience in internal control, statutory auditing and tax audit.
- Computer Proficient (Advanced Ms Excel) and knowledge of accounting software’s such as Orion, tally, Peachtree, sage, and quick book.
- The right candidate must have solid experience in a similar role in a trading company in Nigeria.
