Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) is the independent regulatory agency mandated by Government to monitor and regulate the electricity industry in Nigeria. The Commission is committed to promoting and ensuring efficient market structures and an investor-friendly industry to meet Nigeria's need for safe, adequate, reliable and affordable electricity.
To drive the achievement this mandate, the Commission seeks to recruit qualified professionals for vacant positions in the Office of the Chairman and its 6 specialized Divisions.
NERC is recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Analyst III, Finance and Management Services Division
Job Summary:
The Analyst performs, coordinates and oversees the Division’s administrative support work. The job holder will report to the Senior Manager, Human Resources
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares documents for the Division in Power Point, Excel and Word as may be required
- Takes notes, records and minutes as may be required by the Division
- Takes custody, files and retrieves of documents
- Provides support in maintaining and organizing the units of the Division
- Provides support to the senior management staff of the Division
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Must have experience working in an administrative capacity with middle or senior management
- Ability to work as an effective team member with senior management, and clerical staff
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of organizational and planning skills
- Ability to exercise appropriate independent judgment
- Proficiency in the use of computer (MS Office)
- Demonstrates ability to maintain a fast work pace, managing multiple priorities simultaneously often under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- The person must be organized, professional and a team player
Educational / Professional Qualification(s)
- A first degree in any management-related course from a reputable institution
Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
