Job Title: Chief Mate
Location: Offshore, Nigeria
Job Requirements
- Nautical College - Maritime Engineering Degree
- Valid unlimited Chief Mates license
- GMDSS General Operators certificate
- Nautical Institute Dynamic Positioning training courses;
- Nautical Institute Dynamic Positioning Unlimited certificate.
- Knowledge of all’ technical calculations required for safe operation on of marine aspect of the vessel;
- 8 years deep water off shore drilling experience including 5 years proven experience as Chief Mate;
- All STCW 95 required training for Chief Mate vessel class and flag requirements, endorsement issued by flag authority for recognition of foreign COC without restrictions.
- Valid Ship Security Officer’s certificate is a must.
- Prior drillship experience is preferred.
