Job Title: Logistic Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- A Logistic Officer oversees/coordinates various tasks in order to have adequate levels of food, water and other supplies and equipment for personnel.
- A Logistic Officer tracks shipments by managing the pulling and packing of materials and arrange appropriate transportation. Which includes freight consolidation, cost analysis, routing and scheduling.
- A Logistic Officer must also track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and that shipment and delivery processes adhere to regulations.
- A Logistic Officer is in charge of warehouse management duties which includes maintaining inventory, ordering shipping materials, operating necessary equipment and managing warehouse personnel.
- A Logistic Officer ensures that all aspects such as shipping, warehousing and procurement, are working together to fill orders and deliver materials on a timely basis.
- They will review all processes, systems, design and implement new plans and procedures as needed.
