Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) is the independent regulatory agency mandated by Government to monitor and regulate the electricity industry in Nigeria. The Commission is committed to promoting and ensuring efficient market structures and an investor-friendly industry to meet Nigeria's need for safe, adequate, reliable and affordable electricity.
To drive the achievement this mandate, the Commission seeks to recruit qualified professionals for vacant positions in the Office of the Chairman and its 6 specialized Divisions.
NERC is recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Analyst, Content Development
Location: Any City, Nigeria
Job Description
- The Analyst, Content Development will assist in compilation of Consumer Education educational materials.
- The job holder will report to the Senior Manager, Content Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in compilation of educational materials
- Assists in monitoring gaps in consumer education
- Assists in monitoring websites for consumer information and activities of other regulatory agencies
- Helps in proof reading information materials
- Assists in updating consumer section of the Commission's website in conjunction with the IT unit.
Qualifications and Skills
- A first degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Media Arts, Theatre Arts, Economics, Political Science or any other related discipline
- Minimum of 2 post-graduation experience
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Must be creative.
