Job Title: General Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- The General Manager is responsible for the actualization of branch sales target vis-à-vis company global target, directing and coordinating the activities of the entire business unit and ensuring profitability.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieving growth, hitting sales targets and overseeing daily operations of the business unit
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region/territory; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
- Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
- Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business
- Provide direct management of key functional executives in the business unit
- Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Manage the personnel resources of the branch including performance reviews and future resources planning
