Job Description
- We are currently looking for a competent Construction General Foreman to coordinate operations and look after workers at construction fields
- As point of reference for workers and supervisors, the general Foreman will be a key person for the completion of our project.
- As the general foreman you must have a solid background in the field
- Your leadership skills and your extensive experience should earn you the ability to direct the work of workers and make good decisions. You must be well organized.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Producing schedules and monitoring attendance of crew.
- Allocation of general and daily responsibilities.
- Supervising and training workers and tradespeople.
- Ensuring manpower and resources are adequate.
- Must guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
- Supervising the use of machinery and equipments in the site.
- Monitoring expenditures and ensuring that it remains within the budget.
- Resolving conflicts whenever they arise.
- Reporting of progress to managers and site engineers.
Requirements
- Must have a proven experience as General Foreman.
- Must posses in depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and guidelines
- Must have an accurate understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Aptitude in mathematics
- Must be a problem solver
- Good physical condition and stamina.
