Job Title: E & I Lead Technician
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- The E&I Lead Technician performs a wide variety of duties as required in the maintenance and installation of plant Electrical and Instrument systems, including but not limited to the following: diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and install all plant electrical and instrument equipment including power systems, motors and controls, chillers, wiring, digital, electronic and pneumatic instruments and fire and gas detection systems.
- Position requires regular, dependable attendance.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or Technical School Certification in Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical skills preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience working on industrial instruments and controls, plus experience working on single and three-phase electrical systems; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Main Skills & Abilities:
- Install and commission fire and gas detection eq uipment.
- Working with Hart communicator. Calibration and setting of all kinds of instrumentation like vibration measurement, PCV, transmitters.
- Can read electrical schematics and piping and instrumentation diagrams, control loop circuits, cause and effects diagrams
